Vulnerability honoured
You can bring the truth of where you are without having to make it smaller, neater or easier for someone else.
About the sisterhood
We are building a community where women can be fully seen, honestly supported and encouraged to make a life that feels like their own.
Why we exist
Sisterhood Across Borders was born out of a desire to bridge the gaps that often leave women feeling unseen, unsupported or held back.
For diaspora women and women from underrepresented communities, the path to a fuller life can carry layers that are difficult to explain: cultural expectations, isolation, caregiving, confidence knocked by experience, or simply not seeing enough people like us in the rooms we want to enter.
We make space for the full picture — and for the possibility that support, community and a clear next step can change everything.

Meet the founder
I am the founder of Sisterhood Across Borders, and I started this community to be the support that so many women in the diaspora need but cannot always find.
I know this from lived experience. When women move countries and start again, they leave behind their support, their network, their village — family, friends, the people who would have shown up. That loss is rarely spoken about, and it can lead to loneliness, isolation and depression.
Sisterhood Across Borders exists so that no woman has to build her new life alone. This is a place where you find your village again — women who understand, who cheer you on, and who remind you of who you are.

Say helloWhat guides us
You can bring the truth of where you are without having to make it smaller, neater or easier for someone else.
Your hopes, ambitions and ideas deserve time, attention and practical encouragement.
Every step counts. We notice the quiet wins as much as the big, visible milestones.
Our belief
“When women rise together, the whole horizon gets wider.”
That is the heart of this work. Not perfection. Not competition. A community where your growth makes more room for someone else’s too.
Come as you are
